– Saniah Umer is a Textile Designer and artist with a strong interest in miniature aesthetics and experimental textile practices. She graduated with a BFA in Textile Design from the National College of Arts (2025). Her work spans painting, embroidery, quilting, and mixed media, exploring contemporary approaches to textile and surface. Her practice is rooted in material exploration and layered storytelling, drawing inspiration from cultural narratives, urban experiences, and visual traditions of Lahore within a broader South Asian context. She has collaborated with clothing brands such as KOA. Her designs were selected for Kayseria’s 2023–24 collection. Her work was recently presented at the NCA Thesis Show (2025).
