The work:

• An internship at Lakeer means working alongside an editor for fiction, essays, or poetry for the magazine’s upcoming issues. Interns also get to work at our columns Poetic Renditions and Chowk. 
• Interns will be responsible for reading, compiling and editing submissions, as per the editor’s guidelines.
• They can submit one of their own pieces for Lakeer, and potentially work one-on-one with an editor on it.
• Interns must be available to start from 1 December, 2024. The internship will end on 30 January, 2025.

Eligibility:

• Applicant must be a student at a college/university (or be college/university-age).
  
• Internships are not open to former contributors.

Further details:

• Internships are remote, volunteer positions.
• We completely understand about schoolwork and exam schedules, and happily work around those deadlines.
