Aneeqa Wattoo is a writer and translator based in Lahore, Pakistan. Trained as a historian, her writing explores the intersections between gender and the politics of spaces in South Asia. She is the co-founder of The Creative Room, an online interdisciplinary humanities focused on South Asia (Ig: creativeroom_co). Her poetry and nonfiction have appeared or are forthcoming in Meridian, New Ohio Review, Southern Humanities Review, and New Plains Review. Her poetry has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
